Imagine if Elvis Presley grew up and lived his whole life in a foreign country, and that he had no idea that his wildly popular music had made him the king of rock and roll here in the United States.
But for one man, this is no dream. It actually happened to Sixto Rodriguez, a folk singer from Detroit who couldn’t catch a break in the American music business but somehow found a huge following in South Africa.
