Portland, Oregon! Music Millennium will be hosting an intimate mini-acoustic set and autograph signing with Rodriguez on 10/13 at 3pm. Afterwards, be sure to catch him at the Wonder Ballroom that night for a full-band electric performance!
I think that the guy who found Rodriguez after all these years deserves some credit for getting Rodriguez the fans he deserves after all these years, thanks to my fellow South African who cared enough to do something about the album and not only bring Rodriguez the attention he deserves, but awakens my soul after hearing this album in the 1975 and now bringing it to the top of my Top 10 Albums of all-time!
You have to go to this if tix are available! He’s sold out in Boston unfortunately. He’s the musician in the film Searching for Sugarman that I was telling you about. Wish I could go with you. I’m going to stand outside of the music venue in Boston when he plays here in Oct to see if anyone has an extra tix. He’s amazing!
