Just saw for the third time “searching for sugar man” and I will can not believe what a wonderful artist he was/is!
Always difficult not to cry, and wish I had seen him live in concert.
always in our hearts.
Hi!! I’ve been a Rodriguez fan since about 2023 and he changed my life. I have many tshirts and cd’s and I listen to him whenever I can! He’s a big part of my world. He wrote a song called You’d Like To Admit It which I can only find on youtube in a bad quality recording- does anybody know anything about this? Please help! I think it’s a beautiful song but I can’t find anything about it anywhere!!
More information about this song right here on SugarMan.org http://sugarman.org/rodalbums2.html#slip
I came across the documentary a couple of days ago, and I just have to thank you for such excellent humanitarian work. The moral quality of the producers is evident. Stories like this are what we need to build a better world for everyone. Thank you so much.
This is very late, but Thank You All for finding Sugarman! Many of us listened to him and loved his music without (I’m sure) a dime ever reaching him. You allowed South Africa to thank him and validate him. It was wonderful! ‘Fairy Tale’ stuff.
