Dead Men Don’t Tour, Rodriguez in South Africa 1998 (TV Documentary)
Footage from this documentary features strongly in the Oscar winning film, Searching For Sugar Man.

Cheers 🙂

Thank you so much for posting this video!! Why wasn’t it shown before? This is wonderful to see this wonderful man and hear him. Also to see the people who love him. I can’t think of anyone who deserves this more than him. I wonder if Malik saw this?

I have watched the documentary ‘Searching for Sugar Man’ four times now. Sixto’s voice and lyrics and the constant strum of his guitar are both haunting and mesmerizing. Sometimes in life if you do things for the right reason, grace smiles upon you. Sixto is a most ncredible musician and he continues to demonstrate the indomitable power of the human spirit. When will he play next in the San Francisco area? With eternal respect for this amazing talent, elizabeth

Sixto – Its time to make some new music. I know you must have written other songs. All those Great Songs you did could not have been all that was in you. Your love of music could not have let you go cold turkey all those years. I hope you are working on new songs, I LOVE the old but can’t help but think there is so much more. Thanks for your time, But I will Not forget it.
